Colin and AJ’s Christmas in Middle Earth: Part 1

At one point during the final throes of misery while putting the finishing touches on Supernaughty in 2024, AJ suggested that it should be our last party. He joked that the party should go on hiatus for ten years, during which time we should painstakingly overdub all ten hours of The Lord of the Rings extended editions–which we could then show in one hour installments for the following ten years.

This notion stuck with Colin and on the drive to Blueberry Hill for that year’s party, he suggested to AJ that they should actually do Lord of the Rings as a multi-year series of parties. AJ was intrigued by the idea, if not Colin’s vision of the two of them wearing expensive prosthetic hobbit feet and next year’s party, and the brainstorming began that very night.
